Overview

The Star Fox series, in terms of vehicles, gives the player a variety of styles to play through. This may be dogfights in the air, skirmishes on the land or even naval battles under water.

Vehicles are the predominant way of fighting in the Star Fox series. Having said this, however, it is also possible to fight on foot in some of the games though this feature wasn't properly introduced until Star Fox Adventures (with Star Fox 64 glancing on the topic).

There are also a variety of other vehicles in the series that affect gameplay, whether it is vehicles that can be given limited directions or those piloted by characters other than the Star Fox team.
